Hendrik Veder Group UK Strengthens Collaboration with Lift-Tex for Enhanced Solutions and Services

Hendrik Veder Group UK has expanded its partnership with Lift-Tex® to enhance safe and efficient heavy lifting operations. This strategic alliance aims to provide industries such as maritime, shipping, construction, oil and gas, and renewable energy with direct access to Lift-Tex®’s advanced Extreema® round sling product line. Known for their exceptional strength, flexibility, and user-friendliness, these slings will play a pivotal role in supporting heavy-lifting needs throughout the UK. As a primary supplier of Lift-Tex® Extreema round slings in the UK, Hendrik Veder Group reinforces its standing as a leader in heavy lifting solutions.

This collaboration is especially beneficial for the burgeoning renewable energy sector, where these slings are integral in handling and transporting components for offshore wind farm foundations. Produced in the Netherlands, the Extreema® slings feature innovative ‘parallel laid fibre technology,’ making them significantly stronger than steel, with weight savings of up to 80% compared to traditional wire ropes. This results in safer, more effective, and cost-efficient lifting operations. Bertwin Zonneveld, Managing Director of Hendrik Veder Group UK, expressed that this partnership marks a significant advancement for their clients.

He emphasized that by introducing Lift-Tex®’s innovative products to the UK market, they offer industries a lifting solution that is lighter, safer, and more robust. Zonneveld highlighted the importance of these technologies for existing maritime clients and those involved in developing the UK’s renewable energy infrastructure. Meanwhile, Bert Snel, Director of Lift-Tex, shared his commitment to supporting lifting needs worldwide. He noted that the long-standing collaboration with Hendrik Veder Group will facilitate the introduction of their proven Extreema® slings to the UK, particularly benefitting the fast-evolving renewables sector.
