Intellian Launches First U.S. Manufacturing Line, Strengthening Commitment to Government Partnerships

Intellian Technologies USA, Inc., a prominent provider of satellite communication (SATCOM) antennas and ground gateway solutions, announced the commencement of manufacturing its ARC-M4 Block 1 (AN/USC-75) at its headquarters in Irvine, California. This move reflects Intellian’s dedication to supporting the U.S. Government’s mission-critical needs and ensuring supply chain resilience. By producing the ARC-M4 Block 1 SATCOM terminal domestically, Intellian aims to enhance national security by implementing a rigorous component-level supply chain control system. This system guarantees that no materials from potentially vulnerable nations are utilized, thereby mitigating risks related to supply chain disruptions.

These initiatives significantly boost manufacturing capacity and strengthen the supply chain, demonstrating a firm commitment to the requirements of U.S. Government partners. The maritime ARC-M4 Block 1 terminal is designed for robust performance in challenging sea conditions, featuring automated switching between MILSATCOM and COMSATCOM assets like WGS and SES’s mPOWER constellations. It is the first WGS-certified hybrid terminal available to warfighters, engineered to facilitate Agile Resilient Communications across multiple roles, missions, frequency bands, and orbits. The ARC-M4 Block 1 is certified for simultaneous operations on both X-band and Military Ka-Band frequencies without restrictions, while also being compatible with SES O3b mPOWER and Viasat’s I5 military payloads.

Designed for various orbital services including LEO, MEO, GEO, and HEO, the terminal anticipates future constellations. Eric Sung, CEO of Intellian, stated that this new manufacturing line is a significant step in expanding the company’s global capabilities, addressing the evolving demands of U.S. Government customers. Intellian’s ongoing commitment to compliance and operational risk reduction underscores its mission to enhance satellite communication performance in any operational environment.
