Castor Maritime and Sea Tribute Shipmanagement have recently joined the Bluepool Panamax dry bulk shipping pool, enhancing its fleet. Castor Maritime, a diversified global shipping and energy company listed on NASDAQ, has contributed the MV Magic P, a 2004-built vessel with a deadweight tonnage of 76,453. Meanwhile, Sea Tribute Shipmanagement, a Greek firm specializing in dry bulk vessel management, has added the MV Sea Dawn, a more modern 2014-built ship weighing 80,915 dwt.
Aris Bachos, Bluepool’s head of chartering, emphasized the pool’s diverse clientele, which includes entities from Asia, privately owned Greek firms, and publicly listed corporations. He noted that the pool continues to attract esteemed owners and has established a strong track record over its four years of operation. Bluepool remains committed to delivering market-beating returns for its pool participants.
The diversity of its fleet, in terms of vessel designs and specifications, enables efficient alignment with optimal trading opportunities, thereby maximizing returns for all involved. The Bluepool Panamax pool is poised to expand its fleet from 16 to 19 vessels in the coming months due to new commitments. It features an open-door policy allowing flexible entry and exit clauses for participants.
Owners have the option to earn spot market returns or transition to a fixed period rate as desired. Additionally, the pool provides monthly performance reports on each vessel, ensuring full transparency and oversight for the owners.
