Under this agreement, RCL will utilize LR OneOcean’s advanced voyage optimization platform, which offers real-time voyage planning, dynamic weather routing, and intelligent speed management functionalities. By implementing this cutting-edge technology, RCL aims to significantly reduce fuel usage and enhance the reliability of cargo delivery while adhering to increasingly strict environmental regulations.
The solutions provided by LR OneOcean will empower ship operators to make informed, data-driven decisions that bolster both fuel efficiency and operational reliability. Moreover, the platform will assist RCL, headquartered in Thailand, in managing voyage budgets more effectively, ensuring cost control and optimized scheduling for its fleet of 38 vessels.
